Glass-mesh, cementitious tile backerboard, developed to provide a permanent base for ceramic, marble, and slate tile installations. Approved for wet area use in tub enclosures, tub-showers, and showers, over dry well braced wood studs, furring, or steel studs. Also recommended on floors, countertops, lavatory tops, ceilings, and as a UL listed floor protector and heat shield for solid fuel stoves. Unaffected by water, moisture, and steam. Will not decay, warp, or soften. Tapeless installation on open mesh edges that provides superior edge bond strength. Patented soft wrap, rounded edge panels are easy-to-handle, score, snap, and cut out. Fasten with nails or screws. Withstands 30 P.S.F. wind loads. Exceeds ANSI A118.9. 36" W. x 60" L.
